Privacy

What we collect
Almost nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising. We do not collect, store or share personal data. The one exception is below, under Codes.
Codes
If you enter a promotional code, the app sends the code and a random identifier it made for your installation to our server, which counts how many times that code has been used and unlocks the book. The identifier is not linked to you, your Google account or your device's own identifiers, and it is sent only when you enter a code. It is kept so that re-entering a code on the same installation does not use up another redemption. Nothing else is sent, and it is never shared.
Purchases
Books inside the app are bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment and keeps the purchase record; we receive only what is needed to unlock the book on your device. We never see your payment details.
Your progress
Chapter progress, the journal and hints are saved on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them. Nothing is sent to us.
Book artwork
A book's artwork is downloaded from our servers after purchase or on first play so it can be updated without a store release. Those requests carry only what any web request carries, such as an IP address, which our hosting provider may log for a short time to run the service. We do not use it to identify you.
Children
The app is suitable for everyone and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will say so, with the date above.
